The Commodore 16, released in 1984, was an entry-level home computer aimed at beginners and budget users. It featured a 1.76 MHz 6502-compatible CPU, 16 KB of RAM, and a simplified version of the Commodore 64's BASIC, but had limited software compatibility compared to its bigger sibling.
